Join the award-winning Sinta Quartet for the Sinta Quartet Institute (SQI), a 4-day saxophone quartet intensive, at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. Participants will work closely with all four members of the quartet in a variety of settings, including: chamber music coachings, private lessons, and saxophone and chamber music seminars. The institute will culminate with a participant concert on the evening of July 17.
Dates
July 14-17, 2025, with activities taking place from 9am - 5pm each day and concerts in the evenings. Check-in the evening of July 13, checkout the morning of July 18.
Tuition and Housing
Pre-formed quartets $2,600; Individuals $700
Tuition includes housing on the RiverPark campus at Columbus State University, 1 block from the Schwob School of Music.
*There will also be an option for commuters who opt not to use CSU housing. Price TBA.
Eligibility
SQi is open to current high school and college students (all degrees). Participants may apply as pre-formed quartets (encouraged) or as individual applicants. Individuals will be placed in a quartet at SQI.
How to Apply
Applications and audition videos are due May 15, 2025. Acceptances will be sent by June 1.

Traveling to CSU
CSU's Schwob School of Music is located in the heart of Columbus, GA. For those traveling greater distances, you may choose to fly either to Columbus Airport (CSG) or Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). If flying to ATL, Groome Transportation is an affordable option to get you from Atlanta to Columbus (and back). The drive between ATL and Columbus is about an hour and a half.
